(1Ti 1:8) The OT law is good if one uses it lawfully.

(1Ti 1:16) Election – the receiving of mercy by those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

(1Ti 1:17) Sovereignty – To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

(1Ti 2:6) Salvation as Christ giving himself as a ransom i.e. a price paid for redemption.

(1Ti 2:13) Adam’s creation prior to Eve is an indication of Adam’s headship.

(1Ti 2:14) Adam was not deceived but rather Eve was deceived and became a transgressor.

(1Ti 3:16) Gospel- manifested in flesh, vindicated by Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among nations, believed in world, taken up in glory

(1Ti 4:1-5) Everything created by God is good c.f Gen 1 incl. food and sex received with thanksgiving, made holy by the word of God & prayer

(1Ti 5:2) Saved community – brothers and sisters in all purity – parakaleo? to call to oneìs side in order to encourage, comfort, exhort.

(1Ti 5:17-18) Pastors to be financially supported based on OT law c.f. Deu 25:4 "You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain".

(1Ti 5:19) Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. Paul applies the OT law c.f. Deu 19:15.

(1Ti 6:14-16) Keep the commandment until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, only Sovereign, King of kings and Lord of lords, immortal.
