The only antidote to sin is the gospel—and since Christians remain sinners even after they’re converted, the gospel must be the medicine a Christian takes every day. Since we never leave off sinning, we can never leave the gospel.

Jesus helped and healed many people. He made blind people see. He made deaf people hear. He made lame people walk.

Jesus was making the sad things come untrue.

He was mending God’s broken world.

(1Jn 1:2) The life was made manifest. We have seen it, testify to it & proclaim the eternal life which was with the Father & made manifest.

(1Jn 1:7) If we walk in the light, as he is in light, we have fellowship with one another & blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin

(1Jn 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(1Jn 2:1) Writing these things so you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

(1Jn 2:2) Jesus is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

(1Jn 2:3) By this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

(1Jn 2:7-8) The commandment is both an old commandment and a new commandment now that it is seen more clearly in Jesus.

(1Jn 2:15) Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

(1Jn 2:16-17) All that belongs to this world, desires of flesh and eyes, is passing away But one who does the will of God abides forever.

(1Jn 2:18,22;4:3) Antichrist is coming. Many antichrists have come i.e. denies Jesus is Christ sent in the flesh from the Father.

(1Jn 2:20,27) We have been anointed by the Holy One. The anointing abides in us and teaches us all things.

(1Jn 3:2) What we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

(1Jn 3:8) Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil. The Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil.

(1Jn 3:9) No one born of God makes a practice of sinning for God’s seed abides in him &he cannot keep on sinning for he has been born of God

(1Jn 3:18-20) Loving in deed &truth reassures our hearts. Whenever our heart condemns us God is greater than our heart & he knows everything

(1Jn 3:23-24;4:13) The commandment is to believe in Jesus &love one another.Thus he abides in us as evidenced by the Spirit he has given us.

(1Jn 4:10) In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

(1Jn 5:6-8) Jesus came by water and blood, which along with the Spirit are the tree things that testify to Jesus being the Christ.

(1Jn 5:20-21) Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life. Keep yourselves from idols.

(2Jn 1:1) The elder to the elect lady and her children whom I love in truth.

(2Jn 1:5-6) I ask you, dear lady that we love one another, walking according to his commandments.

(3Jn 1:5-6) It is a faithful thing you do loving these brothers, strangers as they are.Send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God.
