(Psa 1) Happy is the man who delights & meditates on God’s law. He is like a tree planted by streams of water – fruitful with green leaves.

(Psa 2) Serve the LORD with fear, rejoice with trembling, kiss the Son so you don’t perish in the way, happy are all who take refuge in him.

(Psa 3) I cried aloud to the LORD and he answered me from his holy hill. I lay down and slept; I woke again for the LORD sustained me.

(Psa 4) You have put more joy in my heart than comes from wine. In peace I will lie down and sleep; for you alone, make me dwell in safety.

(Psa 5) O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice. Through the abundance of your steadfast love I will enter your house and fall prostrate.

(Psa 6) I am deeply troubled, weary from moaning, every night I flood my bed with tears. How long? You have heard both my plea & my weeping.

(Psa 7) O LORD my God and my refuge, save me lest my enemies tear my soul apart like a lion, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.

(Psa 8) When I look at your heavens,moon & stars, what is man that you are mindful of him? You crowned him with glory & honor in your image.

(Psa 9) The LORD sits enthroned forever. Those who know your name put their trust in you, for you have not forsaken those who seek you.

(Psa 10) O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you strengthen their heart; you incline your ear to the fatherless and oppressed.

(Psa 11) In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to a mountain. He tests righteous & they will see his face.

(Psa 12) The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.

(Psa 13) How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? I trust in your covenant love & will sing.

(Psa 14) The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! Let Israel rejoice.

(Psa 15) O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right.

(Psa 16) The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. You will not abandon my soul to Sheol. In your presence fullness of joy.

(Psa 17) As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.

(Psa 18) The LORD is my deliverer, my rock in whom I take refuge, the horn of my salvation. He came down to rescue me in the thunderstorm.

(Psa 19) The heavens declare the glory of God & proclaim his handiwork. The Law revives, makes wise & gives joy. May my words & thinking …

(Psa 20) May LORD answer you in day of trouble, help you from temple, support you from Zion, remember your sacrifices, grant your desires.

(Psa 21) You make him most happy forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence.

(Psa 22) My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me? From the horns of the wild ox you have saved me.

(Psa 23) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. You prepare a table before me. Goodness, mercy & I shall dwell in house of LORD forever.

(Psa 24) Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. Lift up your heads O gates for the King of Glory.

(Psa 25) Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love & goodness remember me, O LORD!

(Psa 26) O LORD, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells. My foot stands on level ground.

(Psa 27) The LORD is my light & my salvation; whom shall I fear? I seek to dwell in the house of the LORD, to see his glory & inquire of him

(Psa 28) To you, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

(Psa 29) The voice of the LORD is over the waters. The God of glory thunders. The LORD sits enthroned over the flood as king forever.

(Psa 30) Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. He turns mourning & sackcloth into dancing & joy.

(Psa 31) Into your hand I commit my spirit. You redeemed me, O faithful God. I trust in you, O LORD. My times are in your hand; rescue me.

(Psa 32) Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. I confessed my transgressions and the LORD forgave me.

(Psa 33) The LORD spoke & it can to be. He brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD.

(Psa 34) Taste & see that the LORD is good! Those who fear him have no lack! The LORD keeps all his bones , not one is broken. He redeems.

(Psa 35) O LORD may my enemies be like chaff before the wind, driven away by angel of the LORD. I will thank you in the great congregation.

(Psa 36) Refuge in the shadow of your wings, feasting in your house, drink from the river of joy, fountain of life, light, covenant love.

(Psa 37) The meek who trust and wait upon the LORD will inherit the land and have joy. The LORD will cause the wicked to perish.

(Psa 38) There is no health in my bones because of my sin. My sins are like a heavy burden. I confess my iniquity. Do not forsake me.Save me

(Psa 39) O LORD, make me know my end & what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Deliver me from all my transgressions.

(Psa 40) He drew me up from pit of destruction, the miry bog, set my feet on a rock. Sacrifice you have not desired but an open ear.

(Psa 41) My close friend, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me. But you, O LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up.

(Psa 42) As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

(Psa 43) Why are you cast down, O my soul. Why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my Savior & my God.

(Psa 44) For your sake we are killed all day long; regarded as sheep to be slaughtered. Awake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord? Rouse yourself!

(Psa 45) You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy.

(Psa 46) God is our strength & refuge, a help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though earth gives way. Be still & know that I am God.

(Psa 47) God has gone up with a shout & the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to the king of the earth. All nations gather as his people.

(Psa 48) Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! Mount Zion in the far north is the joy of all the earth.

(Psa 49) My mouth shall speak wisdom; meditation of my heart shall be understanding. I will incline my ear to a proverb. Death mocks pride.

(Psa 50) The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Out of Zion God shines forth.

(Psa 51) A Psalm of David after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy, wash, cleanse, create clean heart, cast not away, take not Spirit.

(Psa 52) The wicked man will be destroyed. But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God.

(Psa 53) The fool says in his heart there is no god. There is none who does good, not even one. Salvation for Israel from Zion.

(Psa 54) God is my helper.The Lord is the upholder of my life. He has delivered me from every trouble. My eye looks in triumph on my enemies

(Psa 55) Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

(Psa 56) In God’s word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? You count my tears & put them in a bottle.

(Psa 57) Be merciful to me, O God.In you my soul takes refuge.In shadow of your wings I take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by.

(Psa 58) The wicked will perish. Mankind will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth."

(Psa 59) Deliver & protect me, O my God, from those who rise up against me. You have been to me a fortress & a refuge in day of my distress.

(Psa 60) Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph. God will tread down our foes.

(Psa 61) Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Let me dwell in your tent forever & take refuge under the shelter of your wings!

(Psa 62) For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. I shall not be greatly shaken. Pour out your heart before him.

(Psa 63) My soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry & weary land where there is no water. My soul clings to you,uphold me

(Psa 64) All mankind fears; they tell what God has brought about and ponder what he has done.

(Psa 65) O you who hears prayer, to you shall all flesh come. Happy is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts!

(Psa 66) Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds. I will tell what he has done for my soul.

(Psa 67) May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your saving power may be known among all nations.

(Psa 68) The chariots of God are twice ten thousand. You ascended on high, leading captives & giving gifts to men. The procession of my God.

(Psa 69) Save me, O God! For the waters have come to my neck. I sink in deep mire; I have come into deep waters; the flood sweeps over me.

(Psa 70) Make haste, make haste, hasten, do not delay, O God, to deliver me! May those who love your salvation say evermore, "God is great!"

(Psa 71) You are he who took me from my mother’s womb. Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent.

(Psa 72) The Son of David. Justice & righteousness for the poor. Dominion from sea to sea & to the ends of the earth. Covenant blessings.

(Psa 73) My feet almost stumbled when I saw the prosperity of wicked until I went into temple & discerned their end. God is good to Israel.

(Psa 74) The nations swung their axes in the temple’s forest & burned it to the ground. O God, why do you cast us off forever?

(Psa 75) When the earth totters it is I who keep steady its pillars. Horns of wicked will be cut off & horns of righteous will be lifted up.

(Psa 76) God’s abode has been established in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion. From the heavens God is victorious over nations.

(Psa 77) Will the Lord spurn forever, his steadfast love forever ceased? I will appeal to this, to years of the Most High, his deeds of old.

(Psa 78) A parable, dark sayings from of old, things heard & known from the Exodus to Shiloh to David’s shepherding Israel.

(Psa 79) O God, the nations have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.

(Psa 80) Restore us, O Shepherd of Israel, O God of hosts, O God who is enthroned above cherubim; let your face shine, that we may be saved!

(Psa 81) Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways! I tested you at waters of Meribah. You have not listened.

(Psa 82) God has taken his place in the divine council. Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!

(Psa 83) They say, "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!" Cause them to perish & be shamed.

(Psa 84) My soul longs & faints for courts of the LORD; my heart & flesh sing for joy to living God. Better a day there than a thousand …

(Psa 85) You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sin. Steadfast love & faithfulness meet; righteousness & peace kiss.

(Psa 86) Incline your ear, preserve my life, be gracious, make joyful for you are merciful, gracious, abounding in love and faithfulness.

(Psa 87) Rahab, Babylon, Philistia, Tyre & Cush among God’s people. Singers and dancers alike say, "All my springs are in you."

(Psa 88) My soul is full of troubles, my life draws near to Sheol, the depths of darkness, wrath lies heavy on me, descending to Abaddon.

(Psa 89) Son of David, God’s servant, God’s firstborn son, anointed over all the earth, throne forever. Cast off, rejected, object of wrath.

(Psa 90) O Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

(Psa 91) He who dwells in the shadow of the Almighty command his angels concerning you tread upon serpent … will satisfy with long life.

(Psa 92) Good to declare your steadfast love in the morning & your faithfulness by night. I am like a fruitful tree planted in God’s house.

(Psa 93) The floods have lifted up their voice. Mightier than thunders of many waters,mightier than waves of sea,the LORD on high is mighty!

(Psa 94) He who planted the ear, hears. He who formed the eye, sees. Happy is the man whom you discipline and teach. The wicked are judged.

(Psa 95) God’s hands formed depths, mountains, sea, dry land. Sing. Do not harden your hearts like at Meribah lest you not enter God’s rest.

(Psa 96) Sing to the LORD a new song. Splendor, majesty, strength & beauty are his. Worship in holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!

(Psa 97) Clouds & thick darkness around him, fire & lightning before him, mountains melt, heavens proclaim, all glory to Lord of all earth.

(Psa 98) Sing a new song for he has done marvelous things! His right hand & holy arm have worked salvation for him. Be joyful all creation.

(Psa 99) The LORD reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! Great , awesome, holy is he!

(Psa 100) Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all earth! Serve the LORD with joy! Come into his presence with singing! Enter with thanksgiving!

(Psa 101) I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.

(Psa 102) A Prayer of one afflicted, when he is faint and pours out his complaint before the LORD. The heavens shall perish but you remain.

(Psa 103) Forget not his benefits heals diseases, redeems life from the pit, satisfies with good, not deal with us according to our sins.

(Psa 104) The LORD stretched out the heavens, he provides waters of life, sets a boundary for the deep. If he hides face then return to dust

(Psa 105) Remember God’s wondrous works that he has done, his miracles & judgments. From Abraham, Joseph, Exodus, Wilderness, Joshua.

(Psa 106) All Israel’s rebellions in the wilderness listed one by one. God did not destroy because of compassion. Restore Israel from exile.

(Psa 107) Some wandered, some sat in prison, some on the sea. They cried in their distress. Give thanks to the LORD for his steadfast love.

(Psa 108) Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph. God will tread down our foes.

(Psa 109) My enemy did not remember the poor.May his days be few & another take his office! You save the needy from those who seek his death

(Psa 110) The LORD says to my Lord: Sit at my right hand. You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. He will drink from brook.

(Psa 111) Great are the works of the LORD, remembered & studied by all who delight in them. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.

(Psa 112) Praise the LORD! Happy is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! Wealth, light and righteousness.

(Psa 113) From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised! He makes the barren woman a joyous mother.

(Psa 114) When Israel went out from Egypt, the sea fled, Jordan turned back, mountains skipped, the rock a spring and a pool of water.

(Psa 115) Our God does all he pleases. Idols do not speak, see, hear, feel or walk. Those who make become like. Trust in the LORD for help.

(Psa 116) I love the LORD, he has heard my voice, precious is death of his saints. O LORD, I am your servant, the son of your maidservant.

(Psa 117) Praise the LORD, all nations! For great is his steadfast love toward us. Faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.Praise the LORD!

(Psa 118) This is the day that the LORD has made Hosanna Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! Steadfast love endures forever.

(Psa 119) I love your law. Your commands are a source of joy. Your word is a lamp to my feet. Psa 119:176

(Psa 120) A song of ascent. Woe to me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! Too long have I dwelt here.

(Psa 121) I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from LORD, maker of heaven &earth. He doesn’t slumber.

(Psa 122) I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!" Pray for peace of Jerusalem for sake of house of the LORD.

(Psa 123) As the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, till he has mercy upon us.

(Psa 124) If the LORD had not been on our side then swallowed alive, flood sweep over us. Snare is broken, we have escaped. LORD is our help

(Psa 125) Those who trust in the LORD are like Mt Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever, surrounded by the LORD as J. by mountains

(Psa 126) When LORD restored fortunes of Zion we were as a dreamer.Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy bringing in sheaves.

(Psa 127) Unless the LORD builds house..in vain rise early &stay up late, he gives sleep to his loved one.Fruit of womb a heritage & reward.

(Psa 128) Thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine and your children like olive shoots.

(Psa 129) Let Israel now say, "Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me."

(Psa 130) If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? With you forgiveness, hope, love, redemption. Wait for the LORD.

(Psa 131) O LORD I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

(Psa 132) God’s covenant with David. Temple worship in Zion. This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

(Psa 133) Dwelling together in peace is like precious oil on Aaron’s head, like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion!

(Psa 134) Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house of the LORD! Lift up your hands to holy place.

(Psa 135) Whatever the LORD pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. c.f. Psa 115 Idols not speak, see or walk.

(Psa 136) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Evidenced Creation, Exodus, Conquest, Sustaining.

(Psa 137) By the waters of Babylon we sat down and wept when we remembered Zion. On the willows we hung up our lyres. Not forget Jerusalem.

(Psa 138) The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

(Psa 139) You know my deeds & words, cannot hide, saw me in the womb, days written in your book, lead me in the way of life, search &know me

(Psa 140) Deliver, preserve & guard me from evil men. Judge the wicked in miry pits not to rise. The upright shall dwell in your presence.

(Psa 141) Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!

(Psa 142) I cry to you, O LORD; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living." You will deal bountifully with me.

(Psa 143) Enter not into judgment with your servant, for no one living is righteous before you. My soul thirst for you in parched land.

(Psa 144) Blessed are the people to whom such deliverance and blessings fall! Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD!

(Psa 145) Great is the LORD. His great works are unsearchable. On his works I will meditate. Give thanks for all his kind works.

(Psa 146) The LORD helps oppressed & hungry. Sets prisoners free, opens eyes of blind, watches over & loves widows & fatherless. He reigns.

(Psa 147) Praise the LORD! It is good to sing praises to our God.It is pleasant &a song of praise is fitting.He declares his word to Israel.

(Psa 148) Praise the LORD angels, sun&moon, creation, he commanded & they were created. Fire, hail, snow, mist and wind fulfill his word.

(Psa 149) Sing to the LORD a new song in the assembly.The LORD takes pleasure in his people.Let the high praises of God be in their throats.

(Psa 150) Praise him with trumpet sound, lute, harp, tambourine, dance, strings, pipe, cymbals. Let everything with breath praise the LORD!

(Jam 1:2-4) Count it all joy when you meet trials for testing of faith produces steadfastness that makes perfect & compete, lacking nothing.

(Jam 1:5) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

(Jam 1:12) Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life.

(Jam 1:14-15) Each person is tempted when lured and enticed by desire. Conceived desire gives birth to sin and fully grown sin brings death.

(Jam 1:17) Every good gift and perfect gift is from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

(Jam 1:18) Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

(Jam 1:21) Put away all filthiness & rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

(Jam 1:22) Be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yourselves.

(Jam 1:27) Religion that is pure and undefiled is to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and keep oneself unstained from the world.

(Jam 2:13) Judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

(Jam 2:17-18) Faith without works is dead. I will show you my faith by my works. A person is justified by works not faith alone.

(Jam 3:1) Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

(Jam 3:10-11) From same mouth come blessing and cursing. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water?

(Jam 3:17) The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial & sincere.

(Jam 4:2-3) You desire & do not have because you do not ask. You ask & do not receive because you ask wrongly to spend it on your passions.

(Jam 5:7-8) Be patient until the coming of the Lord which is at hand. Patient like a farmer waiting for fruit and rains.

(Jam 5:13-14) Anyone suffering? Let him pray. Anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Anyone sick? Let him call for the elders, prayer & oil.

(Jam 5:16) Confess your sins to one another, pray for one another that you may be healed. Prayer has great power as it is working c.f.Elijah

(Jam 5:19-20) He who brings back a sinner from his wandering saves his soul from death and covers a multitude of sins.

(Heb 1:1-2) In past at many times & in many ways God spoke to our fathers through prophets but in these last days he has spoken by his Son.

(Heb 1:2-3) The Son is the appointed heir, radiance of God’s glory, exact imprint of God’s nature, sustains universe by his powerful word.

(Heb 1:3) After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

(Heb 2:1-4) Must pay closer attention to word spoken by Son lest we drift from it. Greater judgment in rejecting than word of angels (Law).

(Heb 2:5-9) In Genesis God wanted man to rule creation. Now Jesus is the man to whom God has subjected the world. c.f. Gen 1:28; Psa 8:4-6.

(Heb 2:10) God, for whom & by whom all things exist, in bringing sons to glory, should make founder of salvation perfect through suffering.

(Heb 2:14-15) Jesus shared flesh & blood that through death he might destroy the devil and deliver those whose fear of death were enslaved.

(Heb 2:17) Jesus made like us so that he might become a merciful & faithful high priest in the service of God to make propitiation for sins.

(Heb 2:18,16) For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted i.e. the seed of Abraham.

(Heb 3:1) We who share in a heavenly calling should consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

(Heb 3:2-6) Moses was faithful in God’s house as a servant but Jesus is faithful in God’s house as a Son and worthy of greater glory.

(Heb 3:12-13) Take care lest an evil unbelieving heart, leads you to fall away from living God. Exhort not to be hardened sin’s deceit.

(Heb 4:2;3:19) The gospel was preached to Exodus generation but they were unable to enter God’s rest due to unbelief and disobedience.

(Heb 4:6-10) Neither Joshua nor David brought about the ultimate rest that possession of Canaan foreshadowed. There remains a Sabbath rest.

(Heb 4:12) The word of God is living, active, piercing to the division of soul & spirit, discerning the thoughts & intentions of the heart.

(Heb 4:15) We have a high priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. He has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin.

(Heb 4:16) Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

(Heb 5:7-8) Jesus offered up prayers with loud cries & tears. He was heard because of his learning obedience through suffering as a son.

(Heb 5:9-10) Being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him. A high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

(Heb 6:4-8) Impossible to restore repentance those fall away having once been enlightened and tasted of Spirit, word of God & age to come.

(Heb 6:19-20) We have a steadfast anchor of soul, the hope that enters into inner place behind curtain where Jesus has gone as a forerunner.

(Heb 7:1-3) Melchizedek was a king-priest. King of righteousness and peace. Without beginning or end. A shadow of God’s Son.

(Heb 7:15-21) Jesus is a priest of the order of Melchizedek, based not on blood descent but on God’s oath and power an indestructible life.

(Heb 7:23-25) Many Levitical priests because of death. Jesus saves to uttermost because he always lives to make intercession.

(Heb 7:26-28) We have a high priest who is holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

(Heb 8:1-2) We have a high priest is seated at right hand of the throne of Majesty in heaven. A minister in holy places not built by hands.

(Heb 8:5) Moses made tent according to pattern shown on mountain. Tent, priests & sacrifices serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things.

(Heb 8:6-13) Christ has obtained a ministry that is much more excellent than the old. Also makes a new covenant mediated on better promises.

(Heb 9:7) Only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies and only once a year. And not without sacrifice for his own sin first.

(Heb 9:8-9) The holy place had not been opened while tabernacle on earth stood which is symbolic of the old age.

(Heb 9:9-14) The blood of Christ does what ceremonial sprinkling of blood could not – purify conscience, secure eternal redemption.

(Heb 9:18-22) Covenants are initiated with blood that cleanses. Without the shedding and sprinkling of blood there is no forgiveness of sins

(Heb 9:23-28) Jesus’ blood purifies heavenly temple. Does not offer blood repeatedly but has appeared once for all at the end of the ages.

(Heb 10:4,10) For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. We are made holy through the offering of Jesus’ body.

(Heb 10:11-12) Priests of Levi stand every day repeatedly offering sacrifice for sin. Christ offered a single sacrifice for sins & sat down.

(Heb 10:19-20) We have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us.

(Heb 10:21-25) Let us draw near confidently, hold fast our confession, stir one another, not neglect meeting together as the Day approaches.

(Heb 10:31-39) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Therefore we must endure so we may receive what is promised.

(Heb 11:1-2) Faith is the assurance of things hoped for but not seen. By faith the people of old received their commendation.

(Heb 11:6) Without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe he rewards those who seek him.

(Heb 11:13) OT people died in faith not having received but seen things promised from afar. They were strangers and exiles on the earth.

(Heb 11:16,19) Abraham desired a heavenly country and a city not build by hands. Abraham believed in the God who raises the dead.

(Heb 11:24-27) By faith Moses choose suffering over enjoyment of fleeting pleasures of sin. Preferred reproach for Christ & future reward.

(Heb 11:33-38) OT people by faith did acts of power and suffered, wandered in deserts, mountains & caves. World was not worthy of them.

(Heb 11:39-40) OT people,although not seeing the things promised,were commended by faith as we are. Only alongside us are they made perfect.

(Heb 12:1-2) Being surrounded by great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside the sin that clings, run with endurance, look to Jesus.

(Heb 12:2) Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross.

(Heb 12:6-13) The Lord disciplines us as sons he loves. Disciplines us for our good. Painful but trains us & produces fruit of righteousness

(Heb 12:14-17) Without holiness will not see Jesus. Guard against roots of bitterness that spring up and sexual immorality.

(Heb 12:18-24) You have come to Mount Zion, city of living God, heavenly Jerusalem, assembly of the firstborn ones, God the judge and Jesus.

(Heb 12:28-29) Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom, offer acceptable worship with reverence & awe for our God is a consuming fire.

(Heb 13:2,4,8) Show love to strangers. Let the marriage bed be undefiled. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

(Heb 13:15) Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

(Heb 13:20-21) May God who raised from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep equip you for doing his will for his glory & pleasure.
